I'm down to my only baddies being late(120d) on Comenity and a CO on cap 1.
Multiple emails and phone calls with cap 1 EO just lead to my hopes being up and crushed. Very helpful rep from EO but she couldn't get "the decision makers" to agree to a trade line removal. She was sweet and kept in contact and said she tried. Better than the original "nope don't even ask" answer I got to my first email. Ironically it was the same lady both times. She said things are changing but at the moment she couldn't help me further. I told her I will try again soon and hope for a more favorable response.
Come it I just have severe lates. I have a GW letter typed to be mailed out. Just haven't seen anyone post recent success with late removals.
House shopping in spring and I feel like I'm holding us back from the best possible rate and amount we can be approved for. Score is 690 something but the lates and CO are from 2011/12 so very recent. For those of you that recognize my name I also had a CO from citi removed and collections from Cach llc removed. Hit a plateau and need some encouragement!!
