Anyone have luck with these CA's deleting.,,,

Midland, credit protection assoc., national recovery agency and Afni? The national recovery agency is medical bills...don't know if that makes a difference...but has anyone had luck with a PFD from any of these?

NRA and Midland were pretty easy for me, I sent them a DV and they were gone.

Just a DV? Did you pay anything?

Re: Anyone have luck with these CA's deleting.,,,

Midland was my easiest to have deleted.

I did a DV in November, I didnt get a response in the 30 day time frame but got a letter in January saying it would be deleted from all 3 CRA's.

It has been deleted and I didnt pay anything.

The debt was from 2006 so maybe time was a factor.

Good luck!

My debt is from 2005 or 2006, maybe I should do the same!! Would you mind sharing what you put in your letter?

Re: Anyone have luck with these CA's deleting.,,,

I did not keep my DV letter, I only kept the Midland letter saying they would delete.

I just did a google search for sample DV letters. I sent it Certified RR and that was enough.

I remember it was simple and nothing fancy.

I didnt pay anything to either of them, I just sent a standard form letter DV from google.  I always try the form letter first and then if I dont get any results I send a personal DV.

I just sent a nasty letter to Midland today. Those bastids are reporting a paid account duplicate times on EQ under both of their names. Two names, same account number, shows as paid but at least one of those need to be gone!

Let's see what they say.
