Re: Anyone one else dream about there FICO score?

Oh I am right there with you. I remember when I was younger and made less money my credit was over 700 back then. I will get back there again in time with good payment history and never getting a collection account ever again. It can be really frustrating but in the end I am the one who caused my scores to drop over the years. I thought I would just put my head in the sand and ignore the debt and collections. In the past month or so I have made great strides in getting collection accounts deleted and lowering my credit card utilization. Good luck on your future scores.

Re: Anyone one else dream about there FICO score?

You're kidding, right?  I'm in the middle of dealing with a home loan now and I have nightmares that I forgot something or that some old CA decides to illegally re-age an item.  Well, those are more like daymares - I don't literally dream about it.  I do keep worrying that I've forgotten something.  My poor LO thinks I'm an overachiever because she asked me yesterday for a copy of my driver's license and 3 minutes later she had a .pdf copy of my driver's license with my name, DoB, SS#, and past 3 addresses.  I had it handy (and actually, I took off the recent utility bill) because it was my ID letter for correspondence with Experian.

Actually, I'm also hoping that Experian doesn't mess me up by validating the wrong spelling of my name that I found on my reports the other day.  I swear this will end one day.  Hopefully by May 6th, which is my current closing date and the date upon which I will feel safe to apply for my PSECU account so I can get my EX score, lender-free.

Re: Anyone one else dream about there FICO score?

Ty. Good luck to you too. I love this forum. There is almost to much info. I get so many good ideas I don't even know where to start. I has helped me get from 620 to 667 in a year.

And I did actually dream that I pulled my credit report and my FICO was 450!

Re: Anyone one else dream about there FICO score?

I have daydreams, nightmares and all that comes in between!!! I'm glad I'm not alone. But these forums are great and I'm a little obsessed. Hey, but being obsessed got me from a 601 to a 694 in 3 months!!!

Thanks MyFico Forums!!! Smiley Happy

Re: Anyone one else dream about there FICO score?

I think that the obsession comes with the territory.  We are all working so hard to improve our scores that when someone threatens to destroy all that we have worked for we are like a mama bear and her cubs...Watch out CA's!!!  For us all it has been an uphill battle that is endless (as long as JDB's and CA's still exist it will always be an uphill battle).  We take pride in our accomplishments and the knowledge we have received on this forum is what makes us so bad a**.  Knowlege is definitely power.   We continue to work hard to make sure that no one attempts to undo our success stories.
