hey guys ive been a long time lurker here and finally decided to start taking action, i recently just got approved at a local credit union as a basic member with a checking and savings nothing fancy yet as my scores are pretty low (540,554,586) but i got my foot into the door of a credit union so hopefully they will be very accepting of me rebuilding.
the credit union is SchoolsFirst credit union, now does anyone know if they are more leanient on approvals with their own customers? if ive been with them for so long do they look at that for approvals? my goal by the end of the year is to get a new car and i want to make sure its with a credit union for the low interest rates.
If anyone has the same credit union what would you recommend me doing ?
what time would be best to apply for their credit card?
maybe a loan?
