Are 5 collections too many? HELP PLEASE!

Hi guys i have 4 medical collections totaling 2K and one paid $30 library collection. I tried for PFD and they would not accept. My medical bills are currently not paid, have you had this situation before? Did you pay for your meducal bills or any other collections and let it drop? These will be removed in 2016. I have no idea what too do! Please help I would really like to fix my credit.

One collection is too many.  And yes, I've been in this situation before, only worse.  If they won't go the PFD route, then maybe you can pay/settle and then try the GW method.  It worked for me.

My wife is going through this right now. Send a DV letter. In our situation the insurance didnt pay their part of the bill. If we didnt do a DV we never would have known this. We're goingto tell them to bill the insurance company first then see what comes back.
