The CRA definitely will not budge, it's strictly a data question.
Anecdotally, some folks have had them fall off six months before the 7 year mark, right at the 7 year mark, and six months after the 7 year mark. I don't understand what the distinctions are for how they decide when exactly it falls off. I've read speculation about: officially, it can stay on for 7.5, but they sometimes remove at 7 just to be safe. I assume that extends to the 6.5 mark too.
Sounds like it's an OC, so you might get them to remove it sooner. But you'd be talking about a delete, since they can't change the DOFD.
It probably is helping your AAoA, so it's a judgment call on your part. Your short history would get much shorter.
My Crap 1 fell off EQ 1 year early!! Due 07/2010....gone 3 days ago!! (now for the other 2 cra's!)
So is it the CRA dropping it early?? Or cap 1??
Wow Bungalow! So, you initiated a dispute? Nice!!
My baddie is not Crap1. It is a CO for a car. It was never listed as a repo. I have a judgment related to this but it does not show on all 3 CRA's.
CO's still affect your AAoA?
I know CA's don't.
Funny thing: I checked my EX report from 2006 against the current 2009 copy and one of my baddies says 2/2011 Fall off Date in the 2006 report and in the current 2009 report it says 3/2011. TU had the same dates. I wonder why they would push it back 1 month? There are no differences whatsoever!! Hmmmm....
