Re: Ask OC for recall or try to PFD CA?

There are stipulations that go with the deletion.  It has nothing to do with it being deleted due to payment.

It very clearly states that if an account is returned to the OC, the CA must delete their TL.  If it is sold/transferred, the JDB must delete their TL.

So, again, it has nothing to due with a paid collections. Which it does say not to delete solely because it is paid.

I certainly don't know the correct answer! I have one that the OC assured me they were recalling.  It was supposed to happen June 4 (today).  As of yet there have been no alerts.  I don't know how or if it will happen.  I will probably pull a report in a couple days.

Should the OC recall the debt from the CA, the CA should delete the TL.  Most often they do anyway due to the fact that they don't want to spend money and man hours dealing with customers that they no longer have collection authority for.  Just remember, it can take upwards of 45 days for deletion.
