I haven't checked the statutes in Florida, but if it is "good for 20 years" that just means that it is enforceable for 20 years (they can attempt to garnish wages, etc.). That is different than the reporting period for the judgement on your credit report, which is 7 years from the date the judgement was awarded. That date has passed, so the judgement should not be appearing on your credit reports any longer. That doesn't doesn't mean that Asset can't still attempt to collect on the judgement. Two different issues at play here.

The 7 year period mention would seem to apply only to judgements prior to 1994. After that its the ten year period that applies.

And as mentioned above - thats for enforcement, not credit reporting.
