Hello everyone! First off let me say that this forum is awesome I've made a lot of progress with fixing my credit issues. As a matter of fact I got Asset Acceptance to agree to remove their tradeline from my CR's using the BBB afte sending numerous DV letters and they never validated. Now my question is what do I do to get rid of the OC - First Premier. They are reporting sold to CA and a $0 balance, I did owe them and this is due to fall of my CR 9/2015 but I'm trying to buy a house and I need this off to improve my score. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Kendra
I'm in the same boat but I'm currently trying to get asset acceptance to delete my tradeline through BBB and they replied basically they have no idea what I'm talking about so I sent them back a response with them reporting to the CRA a 120+ late day. So hopefully I'll hear something back within the next week. How did you go about getting them to delete? Can you PM me. I need information about First Premier as well... I need them off my credit report.
I just sent you a PM
Thanks!
Hello, i have a +120 day past due with Asset Acceptance as well, could you please tell me how you got rid of it as well, if it is not too much trouble? Thanks a lot!
Nature of Complaint: | Billing or Collection Issues - No Detail Provided |
Problem: | To whom it may concern: In reviewing the information that you have forwarded to the credit bureaus, I have noted that you are reporting tradelines as follows: Account #11316****Original Creditor: First Premier Bank (Retail)Status: In Collection. $483 past due as of 9/20/2011. I have asked, sent twice on December 28, 2012 and January 28, 2013, for your business to validate this debt however, what you sent, on February 4, 2013 (more than 30 days) is not a complete record showing the debt and any fees that are owed on this account. Failing to provide verification of the debt and continuing to attempt to collect a debt when it is disputed by the consumer according to the FTC File No. 052-3133 Federal Trade Commission ruling Case# 8:12 cv-182-T-27EAJ 1/31/2012 is prohibited. Please remove all tradelines from any and all credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, Transunion etc) as mandated by this ruling.Thank you for your attention in this matter. |
That's what I submitted to the BBB
