In 2005, I have CO from HSBC with a balance of $776.20. It is now owned by Atlantic Credit & Finance. I am trying to get a home equity loan for home repairs and I was told that I have to take care of this first. I don't have a lot of money to offer Atlantic Credit. How should I handle this? Is $150 to low to offer for a settlement? I would like to do PFD if possilbe. Thanks.
