I'm not trying to be a "Debby Downer" or anything but I have been told multiple times that unless it is a mistake on Sallie Mae's part then nothing will be changed and that they do not do "goodwill" request. I wish you all better luck than I am having so far. Never give up!

I just called their customer service for a mailing address and the rep gave me the same canned answer as Capital One so I see what you're saying. Hope OP is able to prove otherwise.

Tears of Joy! Got the phone call today that my lates are being removed and credit bureaus have been notified!

Thx! They backdated my miltary deferment to date of enlistment. I enlisted 2007 and had lates during OEF tour in 2009. I didnt know I could apply for military deferment when I enlisted but Customer Advocate was kind enough to backdate it for me
