Authorized User Question

I was an authorized user on a family member's credit card.  That individual fell into health issues, and then passed away.  The account became delinquent (but is paid off by the estate), and it is reporting on my newly updated Equifax report (provided by myfico because of version change).  It has never shown up before.

Is there any possible way I can get this off my report?  While I was an authorized user, I never used this card.

The TL is Chase Bank.

Re: Authorized User Question

You can dispute with the CRs or contact Chase and request that they delete as the account is not your responsibility.

Re: Authorized User Question

I initiated a dispute with EQ.  Should I wait for the dispute to take its course or should I go ahead and try to contact Chase?  The problem of that would be I don't have any account info for them other than a number....
