Authorized User and Score

I would like to help someone  raise their credit score by adding them as an authorized user.

I have toi Capitol One credit cards and a Credit one Bank card.Will they report these accounts on their credit report?If so will it raise her score

Cap-1 will report but you should only help out if she cannot qualify for a card on her own (including a secured) the waters become muddied when your card is introduced on her report as its not her score exclusively.

Many creditors will not report an AU unless it is a family member.

You need to first consult the creditor regarding their policy.

And, as stated, even if it improves their score, it makes their score no longer representative of only their credit risk.
