I pulled my credit report the other day and noticed two cards I was an authorized user on are reporting negatively. One person died and that card is being reported as charged off. The other person filed bankruptcy and that card is being reported as included in bankruptcy. Should these things be on my report since I was only an authorized user and not a joint account holder? Furthermore, since that one person died, shouldn't that debt have been forgiven? I never really used the card. I was added as an AU in case the person (elderly) needed someone to run errands. Something just doesn't seem right.

You should have removed yourself as soon as you knew they were a problem. You can go ahead and dispute as "not mine" now but it will take a bit of time to be removed.

You can dispute as not yours, but yes it will take a bit.
