Authorized user question

Hi all

In my reading on here, ive seen many recommend being an authorized user on a responsible parties account

I have been an AU on my moms Bank of America card for over a year and its never shown up on any of my reports!

I guess I always thought you had to be a co-owner of the account to have it report

Should this be reporting? Or do we have to request them to? Or does BOA just not for AUs? It would be awesome because its a 20 yr accout w/ a $30,000 limit. Its only used when i travel for work so maybe $1000 used then pd off when i get my expense check

Thx!

Re: Authorized user question

Some creditors don't report AU accounts.  I am pretty sure BoA does.

Have your mom contact them and see why they haven't.
