Authorized user

My wife added me as an authorized user on a credit card that featured no late payments in 9 years. The CRA's, however, only added the last 11 months of the account to my file. What should I do next?

Re: Authorized user

Where did you pull your report?

What is the date showing for date opened?

Pulled from MyFico. Date opened 8/2003.

Re: Authorized user

I would pull directly from the CRA and see what they show for payment history.

For AAoA it goes from date opened so you should be good there.

Re: Authorized user

It's only showing payments from Aug. 2012-July 2013. Everything before then is showing up as unknown.

That's what matters from a FICO scoring perspective.   The account has 10 yrs of age and should help your AAoA.

Re: Authorized user

So how do I get the CRAs to report the full history?

I wouldn't worry about it.  You won't gain any FICO points, as you don't get points for ontime payments.
