BAM! +54 point TU jump after EE request

Post discharge cleanup, I had a number of items due to fall off in March of 2017.  After reading here about some EE sucess with TU 6 months out, I thought I would mail in a request and give it a try. They removed everything I asked for. I only wish EX and EQ were as easy.

I wouldn't have a clue about EE without myFico.  Thanks everyone!

11/16 update: another +75 point increase after I requested that my last two negatives be exluded early.  My TU report is now clean.

Now I just need to finish up with EX and EQ.

EE is Early Execution

A term for asking nicely to have something removed early

This is great! I think it's sometimes known as goodwill letters.

Re: BAM! +54 point TU jump after EE request

Actually a goodwill letter is one written to the original creditor asking them to do something for you even though they are not obligated to do so under the law.  An early execution on the other hand is asking a credit bureau to drop something from your report early even though it may well ber accurate.  Sort of the same outcome but actually quite different.

Sbrooks1,

I had great success just calling TU and EX to get 16 CO accounts EE'd.  Equifax is a flipping nightmare as their call center is in the Phillipines (very nice people BTW) and they stick to the book, no EE >1month early.  I called equifax yesterday as I was just in the 1month window and they did take care of it though.  Good luck!

This just worked for me...had a judgement included in my ch7...wasn't set to fall off till 10/18. Online disputed it w TU and Equifax asking for anow EE on 9-1...by 9-2 gotu a response back from TU..

They deleted it! Still waiting to hear back from Equifax
