So I had 2 BOA accounts that ended up in collections and I eventually paid them if full. So I sent an email to the CEO asking for goodwill removal of lates. I got a letter back from the custormer relations advocate who detailed the accounts then said they can't remove anything that is the law.
Did I do this wrong or should I follow up with another letter asking again?

I've been sending GW letters to BoA for almost a year now for a past account that went to collections (which I was able to have GW'd) but BoA won't budge! I send out 4 letters each month, to 4 different address, plus a handful of emails. I hope one of these days someone will do it!
It is not the law that they can't remove anything. What the FCRA states is that if they report it has to be accurate. It doesn't say they have to report at all.
Some creditors are kind of stubborn and just won't delete negative things.
Keep trying.
So Travis was goodwilEd? The CA did? So I should also try the collections company?
Thank you Guiness.
