S7 - I didn't determine...I just guessed   They said that the credit cards were issued from 06-08 BUT these people do not keep good records at all so all you have to do is send the letter and they will delete!  Google "FTC lawsuit against compuCredit and Jefferson Credit"  it will locate the actual lawsuit documents and you can read about all the different credit cards involved...Aspen, Aspire, Majestic, etc...there are a ton!

Update

I faxed Jefferson Capital my letter on 12/11/2012 with the help of this myFICO member on the FTC ruling. I also included my FTC case number. I got the deletion letter today 12/17/2012. Thanks!

what a great success story! are you able to share the letter you used? would appreciate a PM if you are able to! trying to clean things up as well to qualify for a mortgage... my poor hubby with perfect credit is being brought down by my mistakes. i need to fix this situation quickly!
