You guys are awesome! Norman wouldn't open in the new Capone card drive down my AAoA which is only 3 years?

I would not worry too much about it. AAoA is a SMALL part of scoring and even if it pushes it down past the 3 year point, you'll likely grow right past it again in a just few months. When I opened my last account with Walmart, it reduced my AAoA from 3 years to 2.9 years and I lost all of five points. Which were regained in two months when it went back over 3.

 

As I pointed out in another thread, there are two score factors that the importance of which tends to be vastly overstated here - AAoA and Inquiries.
