Bank of America deleted...

So I logged on to CreditKarma this morning as I do every Wednesday.  I'm not really sure why TU is deleting a lot of my tradelines.   Last week, they deleted 5 or 6 student loan accounts that got consolidated into one,  and this week, they deleted a BoA charge off account.

Come to find out, BoA is removing entries for all credit card debts sold after 2007.  So, if there's a collection account on your CR and the OC removed their entry, can you get the CA to remove theirs as well?

There are numerous threads on this topic.

It's exciting! The BofA removal was done as a result of an agreement made in Federal Bankruptcy Court. It has no bearing on CAs that accurately report debt that BofA sold them.

As usual, you can try with GW and PFD letters, depending on the status of the collection.
