I've had a Barclay Reward card with an initial $2K limit since August of 2015. I attempted to get the APR reduced in May 2016 in hopes of being offered a SP CLI as others have done here. Because I was still on the introductory 0% APR, they wouldn't offer the regular APR reduction.
Fast forward to today, I decided to call them up and ask for an APR reduction again since the introductory offer has expired. I was transferred to an account specialist and she was able to drop the APR from 23.4% to 19.4%, which doesn't really matter as I do not carry a balance. She proceeded to offer a SP CLI as well and offered a $700 increase. While not a large increase, I was thrilled with the accommodation and treatment. I only push about $250/month through this card, I may give them a little more love in return!
