It's official, they hate me. I sent them a letter late September asking to please reinvestigate oh... 13 baddies. I also enclosed a copy of my report from TransUnion with my letter that showed where TU was not able to validate the accounts and therefore they were deleted from my file. Equifax came back and said basically, not deleting anything except for one account. The other 12 remain. That was actually my third letter to them asking to look into the accounts, etc.
I took a break pretty much after that. It just felt like it was too overwhelming and I just needed to let it go for awhile. I realize the 3 agencies don't communicate but dang, I sent them proof from TU they couldn't validate and deleted everything that was not verified so I don't know what on earth Equifax is doing. Tonight I pulled the letter from them out of my every growing file of credit reports and letters. This is what is left:

Those are the baddies left. Other than the student loan situation and I've got the US Dept of Edu looking into that reporting by Equifax. My student loan is in rehab, I had a total of 4 dispursements but Equifax has it listed as 9 seperate accounts! I sent a letter about that and they are researching that account for me.
Several of the medicals are from 2006, everything I listed TU took off. Equifax won't budge.
For the accounts from 2006 can I use the SOL on those? The others I can try PFD on the smaller balances and tackle larger ones after I knock out the small ones.
I know this is crazy long. Just at a stand still.
Help!
Thanks!
Adding that all up, you only owe about 5K. Six of the eleven accounts are at one agency. I would add up what you owe them, and call and offer a settlement of 50% of what you owe IF they will cease all reporting to the CRAs. Can you use a tax refund to pay them off? Then I would do the same of the rest. That really isn't such a bad report and everything is small balances. TU is often the easiest to get deleted, for some reason they don't seem to look into things as much. I have only 2 baddies on that report, and the others are far worse. EQ hates me too.
Equifax basically doesn't care what TU does or does not validate or have on your CR. It's apples and oranges. They don't communicate between each other.
fast way you can do it. go to equifax and dispute online.
Equifax hates me too! I have one paid collection from 2009 that has been reported by the collection agency to remove. EX and TU removed. EQ is just waiting. For what? I don't know. UGHHHHH
What was the reason fort the disputes? Was their reporting wrong?
you know it better
