Before I pay judgment please advise

I live in maryland. I have a $4500  judgement from 2009 that I'm planning  to pay off tomorrow. I spoke with the attorney and he said he'll give me paperwork saying its satisfied but asking the judge to vacate the judgement. Are there any specific documents or requests I should ask the attorney for to help the chance of being vacated?

He is required under the rules of civil procedure to file a notice with the court within a certain period informing them that the judgment has been satisfied.

You will need to know that the plaintiff's attorney has filed notice with the court before you can proceed to request vacature based on satisfaction of the debt.
