Behind the 8 ball....vacating judgments?

I have a judgment on my file (2 actually) that have been fully paid in the last 2 years. If I move to have these vacated, will they actually dissapear from my credit report?

The prospect is exciting!

Thanks for any info!

As an aside...can someone confirm if I have this straight....

A judgment can stay on my credit report for 10 years, even if its satisfied. A bankruptcy dissapears after 7 years?

It's the other way around.

Paying (i.e. satisfying) a judgment is generally not in and of itself reason for the court to vacate the judgment.  If you can convince a court to vacate them, though, they must be deleted from your credit report.
