Re: Being removed as AU from high utilization credit cards

How about being removed as an AU from a very high util CC with a history of 12 years, when all my other revolving accounts (12 total, but most with 0 balances) were opened this year?

Re: Being removed as AU from high utilization credit cards

If you have added 12 accounts in the last year you can let them age together without the AU account. The score hit you may get (would need more info to tell) shouldn't affect you if your in the garden. With that many new accounts and inquiries then garden is probably a good place to spend your time right now.

Re: Being removed as AU from high utilization credit cards

Thanks...yes I'm definitely in the garden now and just working on getting some baddies off. I don't mind taking a minor hit from getting off the AU account but I was afraid it would tank my scores since it's the oldest account.

Re: Being removed as AU from high utilization credit cards

UTI is 30% of your scores.

AAoA is 15% of your scores.

30>15.
