buyout?  The Capital One buyout of HSBC?  I am hoping that they won't be able to find my account.

I actually had some great success with Chase.  I had an old Washington Mutual card that was closed and when I contacted Chase they agreed to delete it because they could not find record of the account, just the account number.

If you have any luck, let me know. I've sent a GW last month with the "we don't do that" letter back. Just sent another to a different address last week.

CitiBank owns them now so its even trickier!!!
