Hi, 2 questions please on removing inaccurate collections. 1. I understand you should first send a DV letter instead of disputing through CRAs is this correct? 2. On some of these collections I am fairly certain I did not receive dunning letters. Should I mention this in the first DV letter and request a copy of the initial dunning letter, or is it better to not mention this at first?

send disputes directly to the creditors.
Send them certified w/ return reciept.
That's your best method.
(Perhaps PFD, depending on your situations)

+1. Send your dispute first to the creditor.
