Blaze Credit Card Late payment advice

I had a 30 day late payment with Blaze Credit card back in Aug 2011, it was by mistake and ive called them a few times and they wont change it to paid as agreed. DOes anyone have any advice on how i could get them to remove the 30 day late?

Send a request in writing,  be VERY NICE in your letter....  try to mention the fact that you've had the card open a long time, and haven't ever had other late payments on this account since the one.   You might try explaining the reason why you forgot that month. If there were extenuating circumstances, mention them and exactly what they were.

When you say you had a late payment by mistake, how late did your mistake become?

The credit reporting process excuses from reporting to the CRAs simple late payments. Those are not the substance of reportable delinquency.

If you are late in payment past the billing due date, then you are delinquent with the creditor.  However, a delinquency does not become reportable as a 30-late until the delinquency has extended another 30-days from the billing due date.  What are the specifics of the reported late?

it was a 30 day late i paid the follwoing payment on time but i skipped one payment. I thought i had paid but when i log on the following month it was right at the 30th day so they counted it as a 30 day late

Then you should have received a new billing statement that reflected the delinquency status prior to it becoming reportable, assuming their next billing statement was cut after the last due date??

i didnt receive anything from them till it was 2 late and already posted 30 days late =(
