BoA charge off what to do?

i have a bank of america credit card that is in charge off with a balance of $587 i believe that its not in Collection agency and they still own account. what is my best option to get this behind me it has alot of lates and hurting my score.

I'd.try to get ahold of them and see if they will do a pay for deletion. They do not have to, but it is worth a try.

well the account is with a collection agency called ccl.

Is it sold, or just assigned?

I dont know I just called BoA and they no longer have account. It's an old account SoL is May 2020
