Bonneville Collections

Quick question- I had this collection account on my CR from over 5 years ago. I sent them a PFD letter and about a week later received a settlement letter for 20 bucks less than the 207 amount owed. The settlement letter had no mention of a PFD so I'm guessing they don't do that? Where should I go from here? Send a pay in full notice or just settle? Thank you!

Re: Bonneville Collections

I'd send the PFD again.  If they refuse, I'd pay and then go the GW route.

Re: Bonneville Collections

I would send a PFD everytime they send you a letter back without acknowledging a PFD.

Re: Bonneville Collections

Okay! On the first PFD I sent, I offered I think 50% of full amount owed. Should I go for a full amount PFD this time? Thanks again!

Re: Bonneville Collections

If the balance is $207,  it's a small amount.  Might be worth it.  But negotiation is always worth a try.

Re: Bonneville Collections

Also- with me sending the PFD, does that restart the SOL?
