Bottom feeder pull frozen credit

I have a litigation pending with a bottom feeder for unfair debt practices, I froze my credit specifically to keep this bottom feeder from pulling it. They have pulled it, hard pulls, at least 3 times this year. This "debt I owe" is way out of SOL and they have never proven that I owe the debt. It will fall off early 2014.
I asked a question about a CLI and was told if you already have a relationship with a creditor they can pull your credit, so my question would be since I have been dealing with this bottom feeder for sometime, can they still hard pull my report for whatever reason they feel its necessary? I am wondering if they are pulling it because that's the only thing they can do to affect me in anyway.

Re: Bottom feeder pull frozen credit

Yes, they can.

However, too many times could be considered harassment on their part.

Re: Bottom feeder pull frozen credit

What is too many? What reasonable purpose would they have to pull it anyway?

Re: Bottom feeder pull frozen credit

They can pull it if they have PP to do so. You can write EQ/EXP/TU and ask them to provide you with the PP given prior to the pull. They usually charge a fee for this.

Re: Bottom feeder pull frozen credit

Too many would be like 4 times a week.  4 times a year would not.

If you owe a debt they have PP.  However, if you sent them a timely DV and they keep pulling they are in violation of the FDCPA if they have not responded.  If it was not timely they are not.
