Hey guys, I talked to a collection agency today. It didn't go well.

My questions is that can they put something on my account (for an example a red flag) to freeze my credit report? or Is it possible to reduce my score even more besides the actual collection itself?

Every time I talked to CA it doesn't go well. Usually they get so upset. Don't understand why. I should be the one who should be upset about the matter..Not them.

I would recommend doing all your communication in writing when you have to deal with CAs.   It's their job to harass, intimidate, threaten, blah blah blah... you into giving them money.   And yes they frequently will get angry when your response back to them is anything other than "I want to pay".

The only thing they can do to your report is to add a collection.   No one other than you has the ability to initiate a credit report freeze.

Don't worry. They can't freeze your report. Only you can do that. And, they can't make a collection worse. A collection is a collection. Don't let their antics fool you. They just want money from you and are probably upset that they aren't getting it easily.
