I have a CA that is reporting and trying to collect a balance on a debt that was paid back in 2010. Therefore, the CA has been reporting false information for the past three years. So my question is can I file a complaint with the CRA an request to have that item deleted for false information?
Do you have proof that it was paid? If so, I would send a GW first and ask for deletion before going the other routes. I would advise them that this has been paid and has wrongfully hurt your scores over the past 3 years. Be nice about it and see what they send back.

I'll try to GW them. But can I file a complaint against them for reporting the account incorrectly for the past three years?
All they would have to do is say oops,, and update it. How about going the GW route first, it would be better to try some GW before complaints.
