CO CA Clarification

Little confused because the 3 reports seem different to me, could someone please help me clarify whether this CO has gone to a CA?  If the CO still owns it?  I want to PFD this just not sure where to start.  Thank you very much for your help!

Re: CO CA Clarification

Right now it looks to me like HSBC still has the debt and Stellar is assigned collections.

Starting Score: 504
July 2013 score:
EQ FICO 819, TU08 778, EX "806 lender pull 07/26/2013
Goal Score: All Scores 760+, Newest goal 800+
Take the myFICO Fitness Challenge

Current scores after adding $81K in CLs and 2 new cars since July 2013
EQ:809 TU 777 EX 790 Now it's just garden time!

June 2017 update: All scores over 820, just pure gardening now.

So I should PFD HSBC, maybe %50 settlement?  And DV Stellar if HSBC accepts PFD?  If HSBC does not accept PFD should I PIF GW HSBC then DV Stellar?

Thank you for replying so quickly Shogun!

So what does that really mean Guiness...  I guess that is why I am so confused, any suggestions are greatly appreciated Guiness! Thank you in advance.

Re: CO CA Clarification

I would send a PFD to HSBC and DV Stellar to start with.

Re: CO CA Clarification

At the same time? Should I settle at %50 with HSBC?

If I DV Stellar and they own the debt could they try and sue me, so should I PDF HSBC first?

Re: CO CA Clarification

Yes, send them at the same time.  If the OC accepts, then the CA can't sue.  If the OC denies payment, you would see what the DV results from the CA is.  If you agree with it, then you would try a PFD with them.

The OC has hired the CA to collect the debt but has not transferred the debt yet.

Re: CO CA Clarification

Thank you both for your help.

I will do that shogun.

Why is the CA showing on 2 of 3 CRA's and different names, is that normal?
