How accurate is this? I paid some small debts down and score dropped?

As far as score goes my ck score is 619 and here it is 609 so for me ck is fairly accurate.

Mine is usually within 50-60 points compared to myFICO on the same day.

CK 637
TU Fico here 702.
Only thing CK is good for is letting you know if something negative was put on your report or to check and see if something was removed.

It's a completely different formula. Naturally we don't have the details of any of the scoring formulas, but you can see the differences. For example, FICO scoring uses AAoA (Average Age of Accounts) and Credit Karma uses Average Age of OPEN accounts. That is a scoring difference. There are other differences too. Someone more knowledgeable than I am can jump in here...but as stated above, use it to track info from your report but ignore the score generated by CK.

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
