So I just bought myfico score and Eq=609 and Tu 624.. Not proud of myself.. From 516 in jan.. 700 is my goal by June cause i want to get a conventional mortgage not AN FHA...
A nearly 100 point jump in two months? I think its okay to have just a bit of pride for that lol. Keep up the good work.

+1
You should be tickled pink! That is an awesome jump in score.
our scores are eerily similar . You should be super proud of that increase in just a few months. If i could get 50-60 points in the next 6 months i will be extactic.
One thing that I've picked up on during this whole process is that while the raw score is important, it's hardly the most imporant.
Like you're trying to raise your score for June for a mortgage app. And that's fine, why not? But a person can still have a high score but short credit history or short recent credit history.
In other words, you're either ready for prime time or you're not.
And when it comes to a mortgage, they will be looking not only at your score but they will be looking at your limits, your payment history and so fourth. So even the score that you're shooting for might not save you. But it might save you if your score is the only place you're deficient.
In my case, if everything was strictly instant approval and based on score, my credit worries would be over. But score aside, I've got some building to do.

Disappointment? It took me 10 months to get that much if an increase.
I never really understand why they think they should get HUGE jumps overnight but the damage wasn't instant. Be proud and keep moving forward!
Not necessarily. Depending on what baddie is on your report, it could have caused a HUGE drop in score. This is especially true if you already have higher scores. So some damage can be instant as soon as it its your report.
Hi.
IF YOU CAN pay your credit card balances down. I paid mine down to about 8% usage (of total cards) and my score jumped about 23 points. That was a big help for me - try that if you can.
(Wish I had known to do that before!)
