Ok so get this. I just called the collection agencies and the first guy I talked too, at commwealth (which has the 2 CA on EQ and TU) told me he can't do anything to the Account cuz it was IIB and I need to dispute it with the CB. Ask for deletion basically. He tried to transfer me to his supervisor but they didn't answer. So what would you dispute that's as? Here is the interesting thing as well. I called the local CA ( the one collection account that's on all 3 CR) and the only one on EX. The lady answered the phone and pulls my account up, I say the same thing.... GW delete early etc... She said hold on and let her talk to her supervisor and get back. She comes back on the phone and is like her supervisor said I need to dispute it with the CB. I asked how do I do that, what do I dispute it as? She said its no longer in there hands cuz of the BK. And dispute it for removal. So what do I do? Dispute it? Online or call and do I just say what the collection agencies said for me to do, or online as other? Mind you, most of the collection accounts dropped off my CR on there own after I was DC back in FEB 2013
Just dispute as "no longer responsible for this debt."
If they want to, they can choose to delete it. They can't collect on it so they may be respond and then it gets deleted.
If that doesn't work, send them a nice goodwill letter and ask them to delete.
Ya, I was like its reporting fine, so didn't think there was anyway to really "dispute it" so I told them I basically am calling to see if yall would GW and remove the account, and both compaines were like you need to dispute it with the CB and have them remove it. So, you think thats they best way to do it? or option it and put was told by the CA to have it removed?
They both asked you to dispute it so I would do that.
If I were you I would do both. I would dispute it with the CRA's and at the same time send a goodwill letter.
Hopefully attacking from both ends will get it removed.
Sounds good to me!! Will do, thank you so much! So, do the option of "not responsible for debt" or do the option one explaining that they told me to dispute for removal? (like hit the other button) to explain
Just finished the Online process....Thank you for the help everyone. Hope they remove them...That would awesome, and I would be CA FREE!!!
Looks like TU has 2 of the 3 completed, but nothing updates until all 3 are done. Im sure that its just came back nothing wrong since 2 of them updated this quick...I hope not... UGH!!
