Can I get a paid collection removed from my credit report?

it's through national credit systems. I couldn't find an email but I they have a form you can fill out to contact them on their website so I did that. I'll send the letter to the address I have on my CR also.

I don't really want to pay for my credit report every two week and this collection isn't showing up on any of the free sites I use to monitor my reports! Any other ways to know if it gets deleted or is this my only option?

There might be a thread around here somewhere...where to find free credit reports..

Maybe just send the GW letters and check once a month.

I just got denied by Discover, so I got a free report through Transunion bc of it.
