Looks like it was some type of revolving joint account that charged off.

DOFD is 3/02.  The account was charged off by the OC as a tax loss in 10/02, and at some late, unspecified date, it was apparently sold to a CA, so you might get a CA posting on your CR within the next year.

For CR purposes, the CO and/or CA have no bearing.l  It should drop from you CR 7 1/2 years from the DOFD, or in 10/09. 

For lawsuit purposes, provided that you have made no payments or offers to pay, and depending upon your state SOL law, you have most likely now reached 6 years running against your SOL.   If your state SOL is 6 years or less, and you have done nothing under your state SOL law to reset this period, you would have an absolute defense against any suit for collection of the debt.
