Can an items report as a collection and judgement?

I noticed on someone's report that midland reports a collection as closed and thn also reports a separate judgement account for the sAme item. Isn't that illegal. Shouldn't they only report the judgement?

You could have a trifecta OC, CA & Judgment, its legal.. If the judgment is paid I would be filing motion to vacate on grounds its been paid.

You're mixing apples and oranges here...

A judgment is a public record of the court, not an account...and therefore not reported by Midland. They may be the plaintiff, however.

They are within their right to report the collection account as they were probably the owner of the debt.
