If any of the mods are reading this - can we 'sticky' a post where people can post the email addresses of the companies they find - not personal email addys but general ones - a lot of these companies are now taking down their email addresses and people on the forum are often hard to reach - i apologize if this is already out there

Yes, midland funding is the same. I found them online, But call went to India and they weren't much help.

Based on what I read in the past, it would be a super short list of only a couple of companies. Seems like AFNI is one with the recoveryteam e-mail addy and it seems like I saw another at some point but can't remember who. People are more than welcome to start an ongoing thread, though.

And certainly don't limit yourselves to e-mail. IMO, your odds are better via mail.

I sent a DV to Midland Credit Mgt in San Diego CA on 11-10-2011

They replied on 12-21-2011 that they could not validate the account and it was deleted from all of my reports. The OC was Citibank. Account went to collections in 2007.

Crazy thing is, it was the easiest to remove and had the largest balance. My biggest issue now is getting hard inquires removed that I know I didnt pull. I have 2 or 3 that were done online for Paypal and Bill Me Later accounts that I cant get deleted.

Terrie if you did not pull them challenge them I did with an oil company and Yes got them to sent letter of deletion to cra HAPPY

Just wanted to thank the forum for their responses to this request for emails for my GW letters.  I just got a call back from Chase and they are deleting the account and sending me a letter to confirm in writing. 

She even thanked me for my service in the military (I had to slip that in the letter lol)

Mortgage here I come!

For chase depending on how old, dispute it online through the DV,  I got both old chase account IIB deleted this way.  if that doesnt work try GW.
