Can you guys help me in regards to what steps i should take to have these paid baddies removed from my credit files??? I need serious help. Im trying to purchase a home next year
Below is a breakdown of my negatives:
Space Coast Credit Union Charge Off (car) in 2008- Paid in Full 9/14
Cach, LLC Collection (GE Capital) 6/14- Paid in full 8/14
Focus Financial Collections (mediacl collections) 10/09-Paid in full 9/14
Central Financial collections (medical) 6/13-Paid in full 9/14
Central financial collections (medical) 4/13-Paid in full 9/14
Midland Credit collection (Tmobile) 4/13-Paid in full 9/14
Nationwide Recovery Collections (medical) 11/10-Paid in full 9/14
Nationwide Recovery collection (medical) 5/12-Paid in full 9/14
Portfolio Recovery Collections (Credit card) 11/11-Paid in full 5/13
Portfolio recovery collections (credit card) 11/11-Paid in full 6/13
One way to have had them removed was to ask for a PFD - pay for deletion agreement in writing prior to paying them and if the CA agreed then you could have it deleted even with they welched on their agreement. If theis wasn't done prior to paying them, one way to go is to ask for a goodwill deletion by writing the CAs. You can research the collection agencie names on the board to see who has had success in getting stuff deleted after they've paid without a PFD agreement. Good luck!

I just filed a complaint against Midland with CFPB..... keeping my fingers crossed.
Do you mind is I ask what the basis of your complaint against Midland was? Also, I hope you'll keep us updated with what happens. I have an account with them that was PIF a few months ago & I've had NO luck so far with getting a GW deletion
