Can this help raise my score?

Short info on where I stand credit fico scores are 585

Car loan almost a year old - current no lates

student loans in deferment - 1 year old

I have 4 collections really only 2 because I have been disputing with CA over this because 2 different credit collections are trying to collect on the same two debts. I was told 2 of the 4 would be deleted because they realize they shouldn't be collecting. I sent out a GW letter for the other 2.

Lets say all 4 disappear completely off credit report, will this bump me up near a 620 at all?

I have no credit cards or anything else.

You could with the collections. Are all 4 CAs? And how recent did the newest CA report?

Do you have any CCs? If not, you'd benefit by adding one.

Which CRA has the 585?

Re: Can this help raise my score?

If all of this came from one report, then it appears it came from EQ since DOFD is listed. From what I see of it, you have three debts with AT&T with org. balances of $744, $188, and $675, with DOFDs of 10/2008, 1/2008, and 12/2007 respectively. If this doesn't look right, then start by contacting AT&T. If you request copies of your last couple of bills, then they'll give it to you, but you have to be firm about not being transferred to the CA. I dealt with the same, including the CAs, and got the info I was looking for to proceed on a PFD.

Looks like the 10/2008 $744 debt is reporting twice. I'd dispute both as being duplicate and the CRA(s) will remove the wrong one (which is CCA). BTW, both CCA and Enhanced, I think, are related. The addresses listed on your EQ report should confirm that.

For the other 3, send each a DV letter. If they verify and you agree (based on the statements from AT&T if necessary), then send a PFD.
