Cap 1 CO

Might a dumb question but I have 2 new cap1 cards that should report soon, but I also have 2 old CO. They both were wiped out by my ch 7 bk. 1 is going to fall off in 2 years and the other one in 2019. Is there any harm calling up or sending and EO an email asking for goodwill deletion? That shouldn't hurt my new accounts right?

There is never any harm in sending a GW.  All they can do is say no.

How old are they?  Were they your oldest accounts?  They do still count toward AAoA.

Good call I just wasn't sure if it would mess anything up with my current cards

The oldest one might hurt my AAoA since it was opened in2007 and DoFD was 5/08 so it will fall off 6/15
The newest one is opened in 2010 and DoFD was 11/12 when I filed my BK so fall off is 11/19.

Well, the same company extended you credit again so the COs didn't stop that.  That would be the only thing I would've worried about.  I was guessing it was the same company.

It depends on what you want.  If you don't care about the AAoA and those lose of points, go with the GW.

I would prefer a clean report and less AAoA than 2 COs and a longer AAoA.

Again, great points Ty! I would like a cleaner report as well. If I got those 2 off there, I would be down to a bk, satisfied judgement, 1very stubborn CA, 4 CO/baddies and then 11 good ones (2 cap1 and 9 good SL)
