Hello myFICO peeps.
I'm in the process of rebuilding my credit and my goal is to get over 720 to do a favorable mortgage loan refi. I've come a long way! I think I'm in the gardening phase but am looking for any ways to get the numbers up and wondered...
I used to have two cards with Cap One with dates opened - April 2004 + November 2006. Both of those cards are now closed.
I opened a new account/card with Cap One in July.
Does anyone know of Cap One might be game to change my date open on the new card back to April 2004 when I first started doing biz with them?
Looking for ways to improve my length of credit history...
.
Thanks in advance!
No. No way.
Amex does that.

+1 only an Amex feature
I'm thankful Cap1 gave me a chance. But as far as doing favors. Nop, No Way, No how! Just AMEX does that!
What Cap 1 will do for you:
annoy with frequent "preapprovals" for an auto loan....
email you about using their card more often......
offer you discounts on a store out of your "generation," or driving distance.....
..and most likely deny your CLI, if dealing online, or with the frontline csr.....
