Cap One CLI

Holy crap you're not gona believe this one. I just got some love from Cap One. I was online reviewing account balances and decided to ask for a CLI just for the fun of it. much to my surprise they gave me a $500 CLI thats double what I had.

Congrats!  I woke up this morning, checked my balance(s) on the phone, and I saw that I had been given a CLI of $1500 on my Cap1 rewards!  Couldn't believe they would increase from the measly $500.00 I had before!  I should buy a lottery ticket today or something...

I just noticed this month that my limit was also increased from $500 to $2000...what the heck?  All these years of asking for a CLI and this comes out of the blue?  I'll take it!!

Similar story here: they recently denied my online CLI request, then increased my limit by $1K (from $1250 to $2250) a few days later, with no explanation. I'll take it!

This is awesome!  I wish I'd get one.  I've only had my cards for a short while.  One since May 2013 and the other is coming up on the 1 year mark some time soon.  I just got a CLI grom the $300 to $500 mark in June tho (on the older card) so I probably won't get another one for a while.

I hope they grant me the same wish...I requested an increase the other day as well and was declined because I just got one in June.

same here.. i started off with 350, and within 2 months of paying bill on time in full they increased my limit to 750 without me even asking.
