I called the backdoor number to Cap1 Debt Recovery. I had a charge off in late 2006 that was PIF early 2007. I have been trying since then to get this removed. The rep I spoke to today told me I have covered just about every possible way to get a C/O removed and that they're not going to remove it. But they are sending me a check back for post charge off interest in the amount of $14.00.

Why do they owe you interest ? Did you overpay the account in 07, and it has just been accruing interest since then ?
Not a clue pizza,
The Sr. Account Rep I talked to said it was sent out on 23 APR, I guess it was in response to my repeated GW letters. What I did notice was that every GW letter, every phone call attempt, every e-mail attempt to have this C/O removed was recorded in Cap1's systems. So they are keeping up with these things surpising. I'm assuming its for people trying to game the system with he said she said type of stuff.
They have stopped responding to me also. Capital One, is not going to remove a charge off. End of story.
Well, hey anytime you get free money from Cap1, it's a good thing right ?? Enjoy it, you can at least reimburse yourself for all the GW letters/postage
