Capital One Auto Finance

[ Edited ]

Does anyone have an e-mail address for them? Can you send me a PM? I have 1 (30) late still showing from 2006. They were paid in full as to I got a newer car from a different bank at that time. I sure would like to get it removed i possible. Any help is greatly appeciated.

That 30 day late will come off this year turning the account into good standing.  Then it will stay for up to 10 years as a positive TL.

For up to 10 years from the date it was closed. If you start messing with it now, you might get the entire TL deleted. Ask me how I know this. :smileysad: I get the idea of a clean report, but as guiness said, the 30 will fall off this year anyway. Besides, the 30 is not causing you any "pain" in your score after nearly seven years.

Re: Capital One Auto Finance

I concur.  This account is aiding your CR, if you by chance have the TL deleted you could actually drop your score.
