Has anyone had any luck getting Cap 1 to remove a string of late payments on a open account? Our last late payment was back in May. We had fallen behind at the end of 2014 due to job loss and it took several months to get caught up. If I can find a way to get these removed it would be the last step in getting our credit ready to apply for a mortgage.
